This CB aerial is a helical design, meaning that copper wire is wound in a spiral around a fibreglass rod, the spiral gets tighter at the top which is where most of the radiation takes place, Because quite a long wire can be used, this design has the performance of aerials that are much longer.

This CB aerial is available in various lengths; our advice is to use the biggest one that you can fit on your truck.
